This was actually taken at night but I liked it better overexposed

You were right to convert it to B&W - it looks fantastic! Excellent composition and I love the post-processing you've done. It gives the photo a great character and old-style feel.

Well, the main thing that distracted in the color version was the boat in the foreground on the right which has something red on top of it. Which somehow didn't fit. From there I went B/W and then played with the exposure some more
